Baltimore County's Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (EPS) is conducting forest restoration projects to improve forest habitat, water quality, and the structure and the function of forest ecosystems near the Skypark. More information here.

Essex Pilots Work Together to Rebuild Hangars

Essex Skypark is a small, general aviation airport that is publicly owned and open for public use. The airport is located on the Back River, approximately three miles southeast of Baltimore, Maryland. Essex Skypark has a new 2,084 by 28 foot asphalt runway and a 3,000 by 300 foot water runway. The water runway is primarily used for ultralight seaplanes.
